Meet your Coach & Mentor - Sharon Smith

Hi, I’m Sharon – Leadership Coach, former people manager, and founder of Own Your Leadership.

I know first-hand how daunting it feels when you step into your first leadership role. I didn’t have a roadmap. I made mistakes. And I spent far too long wondering if I was “doing it right.”

Over time, I not only found my voice as a leader – I went on to lead professional learning and development across the education department of my local authority, mentoring and developing others to grow into confident, values-driven leaders too.

Now, as a Specialist in Leadership Development and Learning Strategy, I help emerging leaders skip the years of trial and error by giving them the clarity, skills and confidence they need before they even set foot into that role.

My approach is deeply human, values-led, and built on the belief that leadership isn’t about perfection – it’s about presence, compassion and courage.

When do we start?

We begin on Wednesday 28th July, 5.30-7pm - and then every fortnight for 6 sessions in total.

Should dates clash with your calendar, you will receive the recordings and workbooks from each session.

The Facebook group will open in advance so we can say hello and share our contexts and experiences.
